Download took awhile but overall not too big a pain. The game itself is awesome and could easily play it for years fun strategy game. Although a little pricey at $30 and not too big a fan of Barbarian Invasion, Rome Total War is defiantly worth it being a great classic. However, On the Walmart site it lists: Shogun 2: Limited Edition (PC/Mac). It doesn't list (pc/mac) for all of it's computer games, so is really for mac? I hear Starcraft 2 does not require such. Steam can run on Mac (its listed as one of the platforms alongside Windows and PS3 in wiki), so if you have Windwos and Steam on your Mac you can try the demo. If you can even run the demo, then yes. It works great. I'm using Windows XP on a MacPro Quad Core and I can play on pretty high settings. I've built many PCs over the years, but I work on Macs for video editing, etc., and I really prefer them because of the more elegant intuitive interface. Neither platform is perfect, but the Mac is just a heck of a lot easier to use in general for me, so when I need to get stuff done it's what I use. Outlook for mac wont connect to google anymore. I always kept a PC around for games, but now I don't have to! OP: you should find your Mac system disc and install Boot Camp so you can play Shogun on your Mac. It's worth it. He runs mutiple hard drives and his mac can run the PC version of windows so he can play Windows based games without the need for 'Mac compatability'. I wish I had paid more attention other than 'Oh well that is cool' and asked him what he uses. If you game you probably should find this and buy it.
